Barnaby De Palma creator of web marketing company Alive Online is excited about blogs and is hosting a seminar this week to inform people of the power of blogging.

De Palma says that by using the power of blogs and Web 2.0 an ordinary business website can be pushed to the front page of Google in a matter of days.

Blogs are search engine friendly, tell Google every time they are updated and are a powerful tool to drive traffic to a business website De Palma said.

“Think of a blog as a mini press release working on behalf of the business that updates Google every time your blog is updated” De Palma said.

Blogs do this by increasing your credibility, linking you to social networking communities, building up your database and helping you become highly ranked on Goggle De Palma said.

De Palma who is eager to share his knowledge of blogging and the internet has been working with the internet since it began in 1995.

“The Ipswich City Council have detailed on their site that all new developments within a mining affected area will need to go through a strict process to ensure that sites are suitable for development”
